incredible. If you are a comfortable primitive camper and you love natural beauty, book here immediately. In the two days I spent camping here, I spent hours watching the sun rise over the tidal creeks and the golden marsh grass. I watched hundreds of crabs feeding in the pluff mud before the tide came in. I watched cattle graze on a great open pasture. I’ve camped in some pretty breathtaking places and this was up there with the best. The campground feels remote but Charleston and other barrier islands d destinations are very accessible. Check in couldn’t be easier, firewood was abundant, and I was left alone for two days. I’d come back here in a heartbeat. The farm and sites were fantastic. I arrived on Thursday with 2 other campers. It was very nice and peaceful. On Friday night it got quite crowded which is to be expected. In the Hipcamp description she says this is not a place for locals to go to party. Well I can’t say they were locals but one group was playing music(live I believe) and I must say I enjoyed it. Then around 130am a guy from that group started just revving his car engine. I was in a trailer so it wasn’t as bad but people in tents must’ve heard it. I’m older 64 so please take this as it’s meant. Younger campers might have not minded . I hate giving mixed reviews but if you’re looking for serenity I’m not sure this will work for you. I’m behind as honest as possible" } ] }
