We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land \(approx\. 320 acres\) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River\. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough \(approx\. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway\) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful\. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top\. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused\! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts\. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking\. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles\. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property\. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times\. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough\. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe\. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road\. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you"\. The river was too fast flowing to swim but the dog enjoyed a paddle along the edge. \nThe bike track was a bit overgrown but we found plenty of things to do and explore.
