Our camp ground had a nice fire pit and a structure made of fire wood. The spots for the tents were very large with beautiful trees over hanging creating a little oasis. The host was cool and kind and made us feel welcomed. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore all the acres."

Host was welcoming, firewood was reasonable, we'd stay again if in the area. \n\nPretty secluded site, especially if you tent camp by the firepit. Closest neighbors are ~20 foot through the woods.\n\nLow branches make it challenging for a trailer but doable if you're good."

"reviewBody": "The GOG is a nice place to stay for a weekend. We arrived in the afternoon and Peter came over to the site that we set up on to chat and let us know the ground rules. Very friendly and gave us some good pointers on where to go. We have kids and came with two families so we ended up going to Lake Michigan (10 mins away) and spent a couple days swimming. The site itself is nice and secluded enough to have a pretty quiet night despite being surrounded by other farms or homes and is only a couple miles off hwy 94 but there is very little noise. The campsites could be a little more specifically detailed or laid out as to where to go at arrival but Peter is very laid back about it and we ended up in a nice spot for 8 people and a dog- and this was a very dog friendly location with lots of owners with dogs. There were several other campers there at the same time, but they were friendly and not loud at all. The trees and brush was thick enough to drown out noise from other campers. There was one shared portajohn but was clean before we got there. Bring mosquito spray bc you will need it. like any wooded campsite. We did have to haul in some water for cooking and cleaning maybe bc the tap wasn't up and running yet but that wasn't too hard. Campsites are a few feet away from parking. Overall space is wide open and you can kick/throw the ball while the parents cook. It rained on us for 2 evenings and the site got soggy but the location, the space and things to do was just fine. "
