They are all en\-suite and have colour televisions and tea/coffee making facilities\. Relax in comfortable surroundings and recuperate ready for the following days delights, which will begin with a hearty Northumbrian breakfast\. Set deep in the vastness of Kielder Forest it is one of Britain's largest nature resorts and home to the rare red squirrel along with many other species of wildlife\. Some of the activities for your enjoyment at Kielder include sailing, fishing, walking, watersports etc\. \.Alnwick Castle is a magnificent medieval castle dating back to the 11th century, and is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Northumberland\. The current Duke still lives at the castle which is open to the public and houses one of the finest, privately owned, collections of art work in Britain\. You may recognise the castle and grounds from films such as Harry Potter, Blackadder and Elizabeth\.The Alnwick Garden, once a derelict plot of land, is now a magical landscape of stimulating, contemporary gardens to have been created in the last century\.
