They have goats and chickens you can visit. The spot was probably 100 yards from their home and porta-potty (they did put a commode near the camp site which was nice) and felt private and quiet. They even had a tent sent up with floor mats, not sure if that's standard but it was really nice to not have to set up our tent! They lit up the path, collected some fire kindling for us, and left a flash light. We didn't have cell service (Verizon) at the site which was fine. \n\nLots of hiking near and around the quabbin and swift river nearby. Was 15 min from Ware center with grocery stores, restaurants, gas, etc. Also have a winery and brewery nearby.
