Our yurt was so cosy, it was evidently very well insulated, and the features inside were beautifully handcrafted! I loved the farm atmosphere with the ducks and chickens wandering around, as well as some very inquisitive peacocks! I had never seen baby peacocks before, they’re very cute. The kitchenette was also a strong plus point with gas hob, and the fridge/freezer meant our food stayed fresh and we didn’t need to shop every day. The bathroom was really clean and comfortable, we happened to be the only people staying in the yurts (out of three) so had the kitchen and bathroom to ourselves, which was a bonus. The bathroom was a bit of a walk away, through the field and down some stairs (as was the entrance + the car) which was fine for us, but I think my parents would have struggled for example. Olivia was there to welcome us and was really friendly and helpful, and was happy to chat when we asked for some local recommendations.
