For more information contact us as soon as possible\.Touring CaravansAt Gayton Road Fisheries \( in some publications 'Grasslands'\) you will find pure tranquillity in a rural West Norfolk location\. Once discovered, many guests return to this site when visiting West Norfolk, the large number of repeat bookings prove this\. This lovely site has five individual touring caravan pitches which measure a minimum of 10 metres by 10 metres\. All the pitches are grass laid over a support mesh, so are suitable for use all year round\. A small privet hedge defines the boundary of each pitch and with a grassy bank to the rear makes them sheltered from some high winds\. The CL is adjacent to Heron Pool and Kingfisher Pond so fishing or birdwatching is only a short stroll from your pitch\. The overall site is 10 acres with three lakes and ponds covering a total area of three and a half acres, this tells you there is plenty of space for five caravans and a couple of lodges\. However if Trout are your chosen sport, Gayton Road Fisheries run a 25 acre Trout fishery only 5 miles from the site and will be only too happy to arrange a session for you\. This site must be visited to gain the most of its beauty and peacefulness\. Our pitch fees are £12 per night, which includes electric hookup and awning, and an allowance for two adults\. No extra surcharges for high season or Bank holidays\. Extra people and extra vehicles are charged for\. No pets allowed\. The specimen lake is a 2 acre mature water with depths from 2 feet to 12 feet and is home to some great fish\. All the fish are English and have grown to their sizes in this lake with no artificial help, just a good strong strain of fish\. The lake is surrounded by trees and bushes with three islands to add that special feature\. This picturesque lake has many features from a good variation in depth, to weed and lily beds, overhanging trees and bushes, along with the array of wildlife\. With homegrown Common and Mirror Carp in excess of 30lb, Tench to over 8lb, and Wels Catfish to over 50lb this is certainly a lake to test any competent angler\. Limited season permits are available, to get on the waiting list you will undergo a detailed reference process\. Heron PoolHeron Pool is a small purpose built fishery, originaly a final growing\-on pond is now a super little water\. It is approximately 3/4 acre in size and is stocked with some superb Carp, Tench and Bream\. You really will enjoy fishing it\. With seven swims on the water the fishery is never crowded with anglers\. The fishery is the focal point of our holiday lodges and 'Camping & Caravanning Club CL'\. Our guests enjoy the a chance to fish during their stay, or just relax with the view over water, there is something about taking it easy by the waterside and just watching the wildlife about their business\.
