The Burrow was cozy, with a comfortable loft bed and futon. The large (for a tiny house) fridge was great to have for the weekend and the house was stocked with all the kitchen utensils we needed. They even had coffee available. Staying at the Farmstead was a great experience for our family - it was a safe place for our 3 year old to run around and explore and we all enjoyed getting a tour of all the animals and garden beds they have there. It's a great location - very close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, though the Farmstead itself holds its own. We highly recommend the Farmstead at Mill Spring for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature with all the charm of camping but with the comfort of a bed and AC at night. And you've got to ask Darin (the owner) about his heart for providing education to African children by means of this tiny home community. It'll rock your world!
