There is a good sized toilet block with hot showers and washing facilities situated on the top field\.There is plenty of space to play ball and all the on site activities are close by, although will not interfere with your stay, for those who want some peace and quiet\.Our friendly campsite manager Charlie, will make sure you have everything you need to settle in for your stay and all the information about events and activities will be available from the site reception or the climbing centre cafe\.Electric Hook UpThe majority of our hook ups are situated around the middle field\. It is a 16A supply\. Prices for hook ups are slightly higher than a basic pitch but only charged if you need to use it\. See our price tariff for details\.Motorhomes and Caravans are welcome in this area and although grass, we have excellent flat\(ish\) ground to park on\.Quiet camping in The GladeThe Glade is completely surrounded by woodland and hedgerow, and set in a slight dip away from the main camping area\. To keep the area natural and quiet, we do not allow cars to park in the glade, but we have a small parking area with immediate access for you to use\.The Glade has its own toilet, shower and washing block and is also the home to our Shepherds Huts and Yurts\.Families and GroupsWe welcome families and courteous groups to stay with us at Far Peak\. With plenty of space to pitch camp, you can choose where you stay, the only limitations being how far you want to walk to the amenities block \(and whether you need an electric hook up\)\. We allow fire pits, or you can rent one on site and music/singing is permitted so long you do not disturb our other guests\.Groups of 3 \- 10 units are charged at the normal pitch prices, but for convenience you can book online together\.Groups of 10\+ units are welcome but your requirements will need to be discussed first so please Contact Us so we can check availability and costs\.School Groups and DofE\. AwardsWe have a fantastic set up for groups and schools and we welcome everyone year round\. Far Peak is very fortunate to have 25 acres fields and woodland which can be used year round\. We can cater for over 100 pitches across the site and provide special rates for larger groups\. We welcome many DofE expeditions year round with bad weather accommodation available\. The site is within trekking distance of other well known stopping points and is also within safe distance of extensive walking and cycling networks that stretch across the Cotswolds\.We also have some fantastic activities for groups to challenge themselves while they stay, including climbing, team games, ropes course and a zip line \(coming Spring 2013\)\. More comprehensive facilities are available in Cirencester \(approximately 9 miles\)\. There is easy access to the Fosse Way, which links with the A40 Oxford and Cheltenham road \(approximately 2 miles to the north\)\. This links with the M40 at Oxford putting London within easy motoring distance\. In addition, the Fosse Way provides access to the A419/417 at Cirencester with links to M4 \(J15\) at Swindon\. Main line services to London are available from Charlbury \(approximately 18 miles\)\.Directions to campsiteApproaching from Cirencester, take the A429 for Stow on the Wold\. Pass through Fossebridge and after a further 2 miles take the turning on the right, just after the garage signposted for Ablington and Bibury\.
