This yurt is on top of one of the ridges of the Wilmette valley affording near three-sixty degree views of all the mountains. There was at least one review before mine that mentioned the trees blocking the view. And although the trees have grown in it by no means detracks from the view or how awesome it feels to be on top of a mountain in a lush forest with the mists surrounding you in the morning, an absolute quiet at night. If you want to see the mountains clearly you can walk to the main road and they'll all be there in glorious sight.\nThere was also mentioned by a previous reviewer about highway noise and I didn't notice any highway sounds, except for the very morning that I checked out and even then it was so low decibel. I'm surprised that anybody mentioned it. And I am a very, very light sleeper. (I travel with ear plugs though). \nThe yurt warms up quick with the wood stove and even though my stay was in the winter, when the sun broke out the next day the yurt got too warm. So build your stove fire with that in mind.
