It is a really unique place to stay and a lot of effort has gone into making a working shearing shed into a rustic spot to have a nice holiday. There is a kitchen and hot water and shower which makes it a big step up from camping. There was plenty of firewood provided to keep us warm throughout our stay. We spent the time doing bushwalks in the national parks around Tenterfield and even a little explore up the creek near the shearing shed. A highlight was sitting on the porch drinking a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the picturesque farm land. The hosts are very friendly and made sure we are comfortable and the directions to the shed were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks to Vicky and John for having us. We managed to make some damper and cook on the outside cooking station. \nA little chilly during the winter, but we have some good rated sleeping bags and swags.
