동산오토캠핑장은 경북 군위군 부계면 동산리 소재 동산계곡 인근에 자리 잡았다. 이 덕분에 한여름에 계곡 물놀이를 하며 캠핑을 즐기고자 찾는 사람이 많다. 캠핑장은 군위군청을 기점으로 40km가량 떨어졌다. 자동차를 타고 산성가음로와 팔공산터널로를 번갈아 달리면 닿는다. 도착까지 걸리는 시간은 40분 안팎이다. 캠핑장에는 파쇄석으로 이뤄진 오토캠핑 사이트 23면이 마련돼 있다. 사이트 크기는 가로 7.5m 세로 8m 등으로 널찍하다. 카라반 동반 입장은 불가능하지만, 트레일러는 가능하다. 주변에는 제2석굴암, 한밤마을 돌담길이 있어 연계 여행에 나서기 좋다.
