I set up in a tent and had no issue finding the perfect spot to set up. Nice and level. The place is huge with space to spread out. There were other people, but it still felt private. Lots of shade which was great as it was very hot when I stayed. I got a couple of visits from sheep which was pretty cool. They didn’t stay long, just a quick hello, and then off to do whatever sheep do.\n If you’re looking for state of the art glamping, this ain’t it. A peaceful spot, close to blacktop with water spigots just a few steps away is what you’ll get. For me, this was perfect. Not even one tick or chigger bite the whole week I was there! At night, it was just crickets and frogs singing. In the morning, roosters and wild bird song. The highway is close, but not heavily traveled, so traffic noise was not an issue. \nThe host was super cool and offered anything she could to make the stay more pleasant. Since it is a farm, they let me beg some extra eggs when I ran out. And since it a farm in Missouri, there are implements sitting around that are waiting to be fixed. This has been my experience at every farm I’ve stayed at before. Anyway, she met me when I arrived and took me through the gate, told me to pick a spot and let me do that. She made a quick visit after I picked to make sure I was good, and had what I needed. She even offered to bring me a hose but the spigot was literally 15 steps away.
