      "reviewBody": "Good facilities, the idea of having to carry everything to camp makes you pack smart but still have fun!\nEnded up in the forest with my two kids for 2 days exploring, building forts and trying to find all the rope swings!\nWill be looking to return again in the future. \n\nCafe serves really good food as well!"

      "reviewBody": "The Wild Camping pitches are not where Hipcamp shows them on the map. The Wild Camping site is a single big field where you pick your own spot, roughly where Hipcamp shows the Oak Stargazer Bell Tent.\nWith that said, even on a bank holiday weekend there was enough room for tents to be at least 20m apart, it just wan't what I expected based on map and pitch photos.\nThe walk from the car park to the field is quite long (about 5 mins), and the provided trolleys don't work well on the bumpy footpath, it was a proper workout to unload and load my stuff."

      "reviewBody": "Nice set up - it's a large and fairly open field site but plenty spacious and she doesn't overbook it, so nobody's tripping over each other & there's a reasonable feel of privacy. Described as wild camping but a lot more luxurious than I'm used to from \"wild\" sites: well-equipped shop/cafe doing quality coffee and breakfast, clean flushing toilets, hot showers, kids' play facilities in the woods (swings/ropes), organised kids' activities, various farm animals for the kids to say hello to and there was even a therapy/massage retreat tent of some kind. Main field is clean, litter-free and everything is well-maintained. Everything reasonably priced for what it is.\n\nIt's a fairly long walk from car park & shower block to field, 600 metres or so, but trolleys are provided - no issues there unless you pack excessively. Loos and washing-up facilities are in one corner of the main field well away from the tents.\n\nSome good local walks; South Downs, Beachy Head and the shingle beaches of Pevensey, Eastbourne, Hastings etc. a short drive.\n\nOnly nitpick.. the shop hours are 9/930 til 5 on weekends, which sounds reasonable but somehow isn't ideal in the context. Earlier start, later finish, shut for a few hours in the middle of the day would make more sense given that campers typically rise early & often will be out for the day. Phone charging is difficult given the above so bring portable solar or a power bank if you'll need to charge."
