We have two very friendly Great Pyrenees, 2 cats, 5 ducks and 10 chickens\. Fresh farm eggs available\. These animals are all located near the house, and not near the campsites, with the exception of the dogs being known to sleep outside the tents, making campers feel especially safe\. when it was chilly. i brought my own camp toilet, but there is one down a carved out trail that is not accessible to all at current. very private though. in between. the coast and redwoods. amazing Sunny lives nearby so you are not in complete isolation.\n\nSunny's dogs greeted us right away, and her kids not too long after. There's a functional sink, and hole-in-the-ground portapotty around the next corner (does not smell!). The closest campsite is at least 3mins walk away so you've got privacy. It is a steep drive down and up, we struggled a little bit with a fully packed up car going up. The stars at night were amazing. The dogs swung by every once in a while to check in on us, never felt safer!\n\nWould come back if we're ever in the area again!
