There’s an unmonitored reservoir that is not suitable for swimming, but apart from that you are free to wander around the fields and have picnics wherever you please\. Non\-disposable gas or charcoal barbecues are allowed on site, and the local village of Praze\-an\-Beeble \(five minutes’ drive\) has a bakery selling proper Cornish pasties as well as an essentials shop and post office\. Beaches, family theme parks and pretty coastal towns can all be found within half an hour’s drive\.
