"reviewBody": "We loved our camp site. We definitely felt alone. It was a perfect spot to camp for the night while on our road trip. No wildlife to be afraid of. Very few bugs to be bothered by. We had a wonderful quiet nights sleep. It was a great place to have a semi off grid camp experience. Still had cell service but my son had a great time hunting for agates. They were everywhere!"

"reviewBody": "Although it was a long, windy gravel road and LOTS of red dust in this camp, it was extremely peaceful and clean! Cathalina was very responsive and had answered all the questions we had. Nathan was so nice. He was very genuine and accommodating. He made certain we had everything we needed. \n\nWe didn't see any wildlife. Heard wild turkey gobbling, domestic dogs, roosters, and another sound from an animal source we couldn't identify. Our dogs loved it too! We definitely will return if we get back in the area.\n\nThank you Cathalina and Nathan for a comfortable and relaxing camping environment!\n"

"reviewBody": "A beautiful, private camp spot. Loved hiking and exploring the area. Beautiful views and well maintained camp spot. Friendly hosts.\n\nThree notes for future campers: \n1) the \"get directions\" link in the app takes you to the property, but not to where you need to go. Use the provided address to meet up with the camp hosts first, and they will bring you to your spot. There is little/no service so plan ahead.\n2) Cooking (and eating) attracted a host of wasps. Luckily we had an enclosed screened canopy, but wasps swarmed outside every time the grill came out. Every day I spent a decent chunk of time catching and releasing wasps that had gotten inside. Not sure if this was a fluke this season or normal for the area, but it made the trip very... exciting.\n3) There was a ton of room for setting up, but securing the tent and gazebo took a little thought. The tent pad barely fit our 8*8 tent and I had to run some lines to stake it down. There is a very large gravel/rock area that you can also use for tents/canopies/etc (and it's totally private so the hosts let you know that using the dirt road is fine, too), but we had to get creative for staking it down and setting up guy lines. Luckily I had a bunch of extra long tie downs and I ran them to the ground beyond the gravel, but it's something to keep in mind if you are traveling with larger tents or considering which stakes to bring! \n\nIt was all totally worth it. Gorgeous site and a memorable adventure. Would definitely recommend!!"

"reviewBody": "The location was very quiet as you might expect and there were no nearby campers. It is rough camping. You need to be prepared for a lot of dust due to the nature of the soil, so dirt and dust gets into everything. The campsites are of course primitive and you set you tent on construction type sand used for mixing cememt. Hard to sink tent pegs deep enough aalthough far better than then loose soil. My biggest issues was being plauged by yellowjackets which took over my campsite. I suppose this is to be expected in high summer but I was forced into my vehicle several times to avoid them. They also inhabited the porta-potty set nearby. I had considered bringing my trailer but i do not belive i could have gotten it into the original campsite on the narrow path. Maybe better drivers could. I was met by Nathan who is a great guy and very helpful. He gave me a tour of the sites on an ATV. \n\nOverall, this is a developing campsite and it is for me, not quite ready yet although i am sure others as per their reviews will find it to be just fine.
