You are in the heart of Terlingua, close to some great restaurants and the road. Elena was super helpful and friendly. At first I was a little nervous about finding all the camping slots full in Big Bend National Park, but looking back Terlingua was definitely the right place for my 3 day trip as I got to return to town, get gas, groceries, and explore restaurants and the state park.
