But I am really glad they cancelled. This is my new favourite camping spot. \nThe first thing I noticed when I arrived was the \"vibe.\" It was very chilled and felt like a little commune. The place is very eco friendly and educational in regards to community farming. \nIt had the perfect balance between being \"wild\" and having the little luxeries, like being able to have a fire. \nThe toilet block exceeded my expectations, brilliant idea having a (bucket) shower room too. We were in pitch 3, which was a semi wooded area and a separate area with a firepit Enough room for two small tents. It felt private enough and the other pitches are well spaced out. \n We looked at almost all of the other pitches when the guests had left and each pitch is completely different, each with its own plus points, depending on your specific needs. \n Location is perfect for a short walk into Frome, over the field and in 15 -20 minutes you\"ll find a bakery, cafes, coop and pubs. In the opposite direction from the campsite is a privately run nature reserve which leads to a river walk. Plenty of opportunities to dip your feet in the water. Apparently you can walk to a few villages with pubs on this route, however we didn't get that far. \nThe place feels very safe and I would definitely recommend it for solo campers.
