The camp has ample firewood, a hammock, a few rope swings, and plenty of great views of the surrounding hillside. There's a wooden gear table they built to set up a stove and lantern, a great fire pit near the hammock, and more. All in all, this is a perfect campsite -- definitely consider this if you're looking to spend a nice solitary time alone in nature. This small thicket of mature trees is really elegant to look at. Bruce (who walked me around to show me the site and the features of Cambia) was an excellent guide and introduced me to many of the curious oddities you'll find around here. Everyone at Cambia is friendly and greeted me as I walked around. The site was just as described. it There was more than enough firewood to feed the fire throughout the two chilly evenings I spent there. The hammock and swing were fun extras that I enjoyed. I had no trouble putting up my tarp quickly because there were plenty of trees to tie to. The community gave me plenty of privacy. I felt safe and really enjoyed my weekend solo camping.
