The cabin picture on the website was a nice cabin with a porch and on the river. There should be more pictures on the website. What we rented was nothing like that. Fortunately the attendants and owner worked with us to find an acceptable cabin - possible only because it was out of season. I think the website could have included a map of the compound that showed how many cabins there were crowded in a small space. And I wish we had better communication before we got there - we had little or no internet access the day we arrived (Lake City is in the most remote county of the continental US so there’s little internet) so we only got our initial cabin number the next day after we arrived. Again , we found Matt and Red who were very helpful when we arrived. The Lake city area is spectacularly beautiful and has great trails do we did have a good trip in spite of the accommodations. Our ratings are based on the cabin they moved us to.
