Overall, it was WONDERFUL! \n\nLori was very responsive to all my questions. We brought our 2 kids and dog and I wanted to make sure there was room in the tent for everyone to sleep (there was!). \n\nThe site was really tucked back into the forest and really quiet and peaceful which I loved. Not having to worry about setting up the tent was awesome and took a lot of stress out of arrival. That being said, we still brought a lot of stuff! This was our first time camping with our kids (ages 3 and 6) and we wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to make it a smooth experience. \n\nThe property, tent, campsite and outhouse were all very clean and beautiful. I loved how there were 3 sites but they were all very private. The other sites were also booked but we barely saw the other ppl. \n\nOne downside to camping in May: the bugs were terrible! So many black flies. We covered ourselves in bug spray but it didn’t help a ton. Sitting by the campfire helped.\n\nAnother challenge: schlepping our stuff from the car to the campsite. It wasn’t clear to me that we’d have to park and walk a bit. I wish we brought less stuff as transporting it through the woods was not easy! I appreciated the wagons Lori had waiting for us though. Lori was awesome and even came by to say hello the morning of our stay.
