Our home is located in rural Iowa just 30 minutes from downtown Des Moines\. Located between Polk City and Sheldahl\. You are welcome to use our firepit & firewood\. We have a fenced in back yard or your pet can run off leash\. We just installed a new 30 amp RV outlet in 2024\. Across the road is the High Trestle Trail, a 25 mile paved bike path\. Very close by is Big Creek State Park \(2\.5 miles\) where you can hike, fish, disc golf, bike the 27\-mile Neil Smith Trail, swim at the beach, rent kayaks, paddle boards, pontoon boats and bikes\. Saylorville Lake Marina \(5 miles\) is great for boating and jet skiing\. Jester Park \(10\.4 miles\) you can see the elk & bison herds\. They have an 18\-hole championship course, 9\-hole Par 3 course, learning & practice facility, an 18\-hole miniature golf course, equestrian center, hiking trails, nature center, fishing, and more\.
