The campsite has plenty of shade in the morning and lots of sun in the afternoon\. Just a word of caution, poison ivy grows in the woods and fire ant beds are around as well\. There are deer in the woods, so there is always a chance of ticks\. This being a rural area, gunfire will be heard during hunting season and neighbors sometimes target practice as well\. The campsite is fairly level, but has a bit of a slope, so it isn't perfectly level\. There is a 30 amp outlet at the campsite but it is located about 250 feet from the breaker box so some larger rigs may draw so much current that the voltage will drop and set off their watch dog voltage protector\. Some guests with larger rigs have to turn everything else off in order to run the AC\. We have an alternate spot available with a 30 amp outlet that should work if you have issues with the one at the regular campsite\. There is a picnic table and fire ring\(with free firewood\) at the campsite for our guests to use\. As the name implies, the campsite is secluded, surrounded by woods and the property is near the end of a dead end dirt road with very little traffic\.
