From here it's only minutes to the centre of Mareeba, 45 minutes to Cairns and only half an hour to Lake Tinaroo which is famous for its fishing with its monster Barra\. We are also close to several national parks with sensational swimming holes\. You can choose to set up camp facing the back of the block looking out into the bush for complete privacy and watch the kangaroos and wallabies, or you can set up overlooking the dam and looking up the block to the back of the house\. We welcome self\-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower\. There is access to drinking water and power\. Our property is nestled in a quiet location except for the birdlife, backing onto bushland with a small creek on one side and a dam full of Barra and native fish on the other\. There is a big level pad to set up on right on the edge of the dam\. The campsite area is 2WD accessible and there's plenty of room for all types of camping vehicles\.
