The setting of the shepherds hut in the enclosed vineyard is very private and excellent for dogs to stay off their leads to explore. The hut itself is beautifully decorated and kitted out, making for a comfortable base. We spent the majority of our time outside however, using the firepit, BBQ and romantic outdoor bath. We were lucky enough to see the milky way on a clear night as the location is so rural which was incredible. We only left the site to collect food supplies as we wanted a chill getaway but the area looks lovely for walking and the nearby towns quaint to explore. We would love to return in a few years once all the newly planted trees and vines have matured as it'll make for a beautiful spot. Thank you so much for our stay! We went as a family of 4, two adults two children aged 10 and 11 years.\nThe booking was very easy, we had communication from the owners from the beginning up until arrival.\nLexi was very friendly and met us on site when we arrived, she shown us how to use certain things on the site such as the compost toilet, showers. \nThe site was great really, a massive field with a pond, clean tent that was decorated wonderfully.\nThe children thought it was super cool as soon as we got there!\nShower and toilet very clean! \nSo as a first time glamper, in October we all had a lovely time! The weather was fabulous on our full day! So having the outdoor fire was brilliant for the kids to roast marshmallows and our food. \nWe did have rain the first evening, but we embraced it and still sat out by the fire!\nWhat we enjoyed the most was the experience of something completely new! We are used to the luxury of a hotel room, but we got on absolutely fine here.
