After a friendly welcome from the host, we found the campground to be quiet and not crowded, with a local feel. Our site had power and water and a picnic table. Grassy area nearby to walk the dogs....
We had a nice quiet evening. We were closer to permanent residents than we would prefer. Though the camp host met us on arrival and made every effort to ensure our comfort.
The campsite offers a friendly welcome and a quiet atmosphere, making it suitable for short stays, especially for activities like fishing. However, many reviewers noted significant drawbacks, including limited bathroom facilities, cramped sites, and a prevalence of long-term residents that detracts from the traditional camping experience. While some appreciated the grassy areas and the helpful staff, the overall sentiment leans towards disappointment due to the lack of privacy and upkeep.
