We have 40 acres of redwood forest and two creeks running through including the Amaya Creek which serves the boundary of our property at the end of Amayak Creek Trail\. There’s also a small waterfall off the Amaya Creek Trail, but it may dry out during the summer\. Enjoy hiking, creeks and small waterfall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more\. Our campground has running water from a natural spring, Men and Women's Restrooms each with 2 toilets and 1 FREE hot water shower, utility shed with sink and hot water, and an outdoor amphitheater\. The kitchen and washer/dryer is Staff Only not for campers\. \. Most campsites allow 4\-6 guests maximum with 1 car included in the nightly rate\. Each additional vehicle is $15 per day and will be added at checkout once you add the correct number of vehicles you will be bringing\. Pets are $10 per day, 1 pet per group ONLY\. Please add this as an extra at the time of booking, you will see the option to add extras once you begin the checkout process\. Dogs must be on leash at all times\! Quiet hours are 10pm\-8am\. There were flush toilets, which were nice, paper towels, running water, and a sink where you can wash dishes. When I arrived, there was no toilet paper and it wasn’t replenished until the next morning, I’m glad that I brought my own toilet paper just in case. Some of the sites have a very vertical incline to get to and some of the campsites have a little bit of a lean, but overall there are flat campsites, and most are great that offer quiet and beauty and a beautiful scenery. The road to get to Amaya campground, is very curvy & peaceful & paved. The bathroom wasn’t perfect, but it was cleaner before all the guests started to take showers and get ready in the morning. It was adequate. There was a delicious winery about 15 minutes away up and over a windy Road my friend and I made it for the last 20 minutes. That was a fun little excursion. But the closest coffee or establishment is probably a good 25 or so minutes away out from that windy Road. If you don’t mind driving in and out, there’s some really great places to visit like hikes, breweries wineries eateries Not too bad with a little bit of a drive. There is a short hike to the creek right from where the bathrooms are next to a campsite as well some good up-and-down. We stayed at camp 4a. It was a little walk to the bathroom, but not far at all. We stayed in site 14 for 2 nights which although didn't have car access, was nicely shaded and spacious enough for 2 big tents. We parked maybe 50 meters away and brought a wagon to bring stuff up to the site. It was far from the toilet/shower (maybe a 10 min walk), but that we knew already, which made it nicely secluded for our small kids' adventures. The walk to the creek was very doable, even with a wagon full of toddlers, for the most part (but not wheelchair accessible, if looking for that).
