Upon arrival, we contacted the host by phone (she was out of town) to get direction as to where to enter the grassy area as there was no path or driveway indicating where to enter. Host instructed us and we proceeded towards the site & quickly got stuck. Host sent friends to pull us out which was great. However, we did have to find another spot to spend the night. A gravel drive probably would have been helpful. The whole situation could have been worse & host was helpful directing us to a different campground. That being said, this was our first experience with Hipcamp & we will probably not utilize Hipcamp again after the scary experience of getting stuck. Thank you. The terrain is much more sloped than the photos lead on, there is a semi-permanent camper in the spot already and although its advertised as two spots, there is one sewer line, and one hose hookup. Meaning not only are you dividing water pressure, but youd have to move someone else's stinky slinky in order to dump yours. Like I said Jenna was really nice, really friendly but the property just isnt set up for this. I backed into the neighbors yard unknowingly and then got stuck and had to ask a different neighbor to pull me out, risking damaging my truck. Thankfully I did not choose to stay here because it absolutely rained like mad and I know that I would have had a nightmare of a time getting in and out. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this is not set up for what this platform is used for. I left and was given a refund without issue from Jenna. Very nice woman though.
